difference

"He didn't know what to do.
He grew scared because he didn't know what to do.
He forgot he didn't know what to do.
He went back inside the hut.
You couldn't tell the difference between a snowflake and a star."
Kathy Acker, Blood and Guts in High School

Hi,

I am taking a course run by Stephen Cain at York. He is teaching your poetry from WSLF. I have read from reviews that you incorporate dance and sound into your poetry. Can you give me any hints at where I should be imagining sound? or movement?

Thanks for your question, newbondgirl. I'd ask you this question to start: How might the "a hoosh a ha" sequence (pp. 7-10) act as a sound score or as choreographic notation; how might these translate into performance? How can a page act as a stage for words?
